Accuratest® Ovulation (LH) is a rapid chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of luteinizing hormone (LH) in urine to predict the time of ovulation.
Ovulation is the release of an egg from the ovary. The egg passes into the fallopian tube, where it is ready to be fertilized. For pregnancy to occur, sperm must fertilize the egg within 24 hours of its release. Immediately before ovulation, the body produces a large amount of luteinizing hormone (LH). This is known as the “LH surge” and usually takes place in the middle of the menstrual cycle. LH triggers the release of an egg from the ovary.
Accuratest® Ovulation (LH) is a complete system to HELP PREDICT THE TIME OF OVULATION AND PEAK FERTILITY. It is during this fertile period that pregnancy is most likely to occur.
Accuratest® Ovulation (LH) detects the surge of LH in the urine, indicating that ovulation is likely to occur in the next 24 to 48 hours.
Accuratest® Ovulation (LH) is a chromatographic immunoassay (CIA) for the rapid qualitative determination of LH in urine. The membrane is pre-coated with anti-α LH capture antibody in the test line region and goat anti-mouse in the control line region. During the test, the urine sample is allowed to react with the colored conjugate (anti-β mouse monoclonal antibody colloidal gold conjugate) that has been pre-dried on the test strip. The mixture then moves up the membrane chromatographically by capillary action..
For a positive result, a pink colored line will be formed with the specific colored antibody-LH conjugate complex in the test line region of the membrane, and the color intensity of the test line is equal to or stronger than that of the control line. This means a positive result. For a negative result, the color intensity of the test line is weaker than that of the control line. The test result means that the concentration of LH in the urine sample is at the normal level. Regardless of the presence of LH, as the mixture continues to move through the membrane towards the immobilized goat anti-mouse, a pink colored line will always appear in the control line region. The presence of this pink colored line serves as a:
- Verification that sufficient volume is added;
- That adequate flow is obtained;
- As a control of reagents.

El Accuratest® Ovulación (LH) son inmunoensayos cualitativos para la are qualitative immunoassays for the determination of luteinizing hormone (LH) in urine.
Sensitivity: 25 mlU.
Ovulation Test Kits are used to monitor the ovulation cycle for couples trying to conceive.
Ovulation kits are designed to monitor the surge of luteinizing hormone (LH) in the urine. LH is a gonadotropin usually present in the blood and urine with highest concentrations at 24-48 hours before the release of the fertile egg. This condition is also commonly known as LH Surge and is helpful for timing sexual intercourse and ultimately conception.
High sensitivity.
99.9% effectiveness.

Accuratest® Ovulation (LH) It is used from birth to facilitate the digestive process of lactose contained in breast milk or infant formula, thus relieving episodes of infantile colic.
how to use
1. Determine the length of your menstrual cycle.
2. The length of your menstrual cycle is the number of days from the first day of your period (menstrual bleeding) to the last day before your next period starts.
3. Circle the length of your usual cycle in the chart, starting on the right. Select the mark directly below.
4. Starting on the first day of your last period, count ahead the number of days selected on your calendar. This is the day you should start. Count ahead these days starting with the first day of your last period.
